How do you measure your success when you know deep down that you are far from achieving your goals... By looking at the friends who seem to be doing worse? 'in that moment you get to feel grateful after all you are not the worst achiever in your zone,,,
A fat guy walks pass by someone fatter says to himself 'I am in shape... look at that dude {guilty of this}
Within a month you are awakened by the noise of two different neighbors been hassled over debt they yet to pay and upon hearing the amount being argued over is less than a thousand Naira on both occasions...
You probably the only one who owns a DSTV in your block and every weekend neighbors come knocking on your door to catch EPL games which you mostly ignore but once in a while open the door as a sign of kind gesture from da biggest boss of the under achiever's world!
You single and your friend who never stops bragging about how she got the greatest man in the world just found out she been the side chick all along...
It seems the misery of those not so far from you seem to help you get through each passing day, else you would be overwhelmed by the sadness that really fills your heart, so in the moment of seeing other's in misery, you give thanks to God for not being the least achiever and continue to hope that one day you will make it to the big leagues, whereby the misery of those you feed on will involve more valuable things like kind of car they drive, the drinks they were able to buy in the club, their babes/men ain't loyal just like yours... which make me wonder and throw this one question out there to you all... Is your interpretation of success deep inside your subconscious based on how other's close to you seem to have it bad?
